Hollister OHV Park

Metcalf OHV Park

Stockton Motorplex

The Santa Cruz Mnt's.

Acres and acres of off-road enjoyment, including a variety of MX tracks, a TT track, and miles and miles of trails and singletracks. For all skill levels, absolutely one of my personal favorites.

A "quick getaway" overlooking Silicon Valley. Offers a well groomed MX track, a small TT track, a GP track, a trials section, and a dozen or so trails and singletracks. It can get real dry and rocky if we don't see rain for awhile.

The birthplace for many, many racer prodigies. A small karting track that is SuperMoto and mini-bike friendly. A great place to test your skills without breaking your wallet, you can ride all day on specific days for just $25. Sportbikes are NOT allowed.

It's no secret where moto enthusiasts like to go for a twisty street ride. If going up there for the first time, please obey the law and respect the residents who live up there. Although a very fun place to ride, it's notorious for the motorcycle related incidents and deaths due to unsafe riding.

Calabazas BMX Park

The Fun Spot

Pleasanton BMX Park

West Cliff Drive

Located in San Jose, Ca. Calabazas was a big part of my childhood and still remains as a place of very fond memories. The park recently had a makeover and I admit that the jumps are WAY beyond the withered skill level of an old-fart like me. I still like to check it out every once in awhile and watch the local thrashers.

Located in Santa Cruz, Ca. this wooden playground was once a skateboard park. Again, the jumps are a bit beyond my lame skill level, but there's everything a BMX'er or dirtjumper would want in a park - jumps, ramps, rails, a half-pipe and even a wall ride.

Located in Pleasanton, Ca. this park serves all riding levels, from young beginners to seasoned veterans. There’s a track for beginners and young children. Another track includes a mountain bike area and challenging jumps for more experienced riders. The riding area has over 40 jumps and many banked turns.

Ahhhhh... the refreshing smell of the ocean. Growing up on the West Side of Santa Cruz, Ca., West Cliff Dr. was a pipeline (no pun intended) to all the places we wanted to go, especially to watch cute girls. Nowadays, it's a favorite spot for myself and the Mrs. to cruise the beach cruisers and chill for a bit.

Cycle Gear is a direct supporter of SMHooligans and TwoWheelLife. There's no place in the Bay Area (aside from other Cycle Gear Stores) that has a better selection, price and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Pay them a visit and tell them you heard about their store on TwoWheelLife.com!

Located in Dublin, Ca. this is the only shop I go to for all of my (and the Mrs.) tattoo work. A friend, Ryan Groebler runs the shop and he's accompanied by a handful of very talented artists. Ryan is also a fraternal Brother of mine of The Ancient and Honorable Order of E Clampus Vitus.
